Wedding reception venues in Sunderland / Durham?

im looking for someware in sunderland or even durham to have my evening reception. Yell.com and google have found nothing, the only places ive come up with is the SOL, travistock hotel and marriot hotel, these places arent realy what im after a bit too expensive but i dont want a pub function room really either. suggest anyware youve had yours or have been to thats been good please.

I'm having mine in Darlington at Blackwell Grange Hotel, it's beautiful and soooo reasonable i couldn't believe it when she said the price, i was expecting thousands but it was only £300 for the night, we live about 40 mins away from it as do majority of friends and family but we picked it (coz it's cheap) because it's in the 'middle' of every one so no one can say they are closer than others.....

Try 118 118 and type in hotels in Durham it brought up loads, but i don't know which ones are scummy or not.
