Wedding rings on a finger?

what order does a wedding ring,engagement ring and an eternity ring go on a persons hand,thank you,

Wedding ring goes on 1st - so its closer to your heart. Followed by your engagement ring then your eternity ring.

Well i have my wedding ring on first, and then my very pretty engagement ring on top.. I am yet (if ever) to get an eternity ring, but if i did have one it would go on top of the engagement ring. I don't overly care for tradition, but i suppose that it is the more traditional way to do things.

If you are wearing all of them on one finger, the wedding ring goes on first, then the engagement ring, then the eternity ring.  The wedding ring is always 'closest to the heart' ... the ring finger of the left hand.

Many wear their wedding ring all the time, so that it is the first ring placed on the finger, and because the engagement ring is often removed, then this goes on after the wedding ring. This leaves the question whether the eternity ring should go on second or third. We believe it is correct to regard this as a matter of personal choice. Do whichever feels best or right for you. You may find a particular style of eternity ring which will fit better in one position rather than another, so be guided by this. In general a dainty style of eternity ring with lots of claws would be best if removed when tackling certain jobs, so may be best put on last, whereas a substantial eternity ring without claws could be left on permanently, and therefore could be worn between the wedding and engagement ring.

In UK you wear wedding ring, then eternity then engagement. I know you obviously get the engagement before the eternity but it sits better next the the wedding band then the engagement goes on last.

Always wear the wedding ring first as this should not be removed once your husband has placed it on your finger.
