Wedding theme colors poll....?

Question

Okay, so my wedding will be themed in 2 colors, white and another color so...

White and Red

White and Pastel Pink

White and Baby Blue

White and Navy

which do you prefer?

Go with red...you'll drive yourself crazy trying to do EVERYTHING different.  I wanted mine to be very original also (I'm doing reds and golds), but all my girls told me they'd rather wear a red dress than a gold one.  Since red is so popular though, you do have a lot of choices.  As for being original...make your food really stand out!  The last five weddings I've been to had the same menu: some kind of baked chicken, honey ham, rosemary redskin potatoes and green beans.

My wedding colours is gonna be wine red and black...

I love the white and navy idea...I will add a touch of silver with it. It was my second choice after wine red and black.

You can even add pink details to the navy and silver! Then it will get rid of the girly look. Silver and navy with a hint of pink!

I would not do navy, I just think it is too harsh compared with your other options. I think pink or red would be perfect because they are soft and are the colors of love and passion. Good luck! I know a girl who had a white dress and had a red sash tied around her waist and it was amazing!!

I like White and Pastel pink the best

I like then in this order:

1) White and Pastel Pink

2) White and Baby Blue

3) White and Red (in some countries/religions red is considered an "unlucky" color for weddings)

4) White and Navy

either white and pastel pink or white and baby blue:

to me, softer colors compliment the white more than red or navy.

Plus, white and red resemble candy canes and wintery themes.

i def think white and red!

it would be very pretty with red rose's and a traditional white dress and your soon to be hubby wearing a black suit with a red tie.

In my opinion I just looooove a white and black wedding. It's so classic and crisp and chic!! I hope you'd consider that one...but if not... ;)

White and red is overdone. Trust me on this one. It's the absolute most popular choice over any other. It makes me think of valentines day which is kind of....hm. Not my favorite.

I'd say....white and navy. The pastels just aren't my taste and can come off a tad overplayed.

Red and white looks amazing. My cousin is having this theme but she is wearing a red wedding dress with the bridesmaids in white cocktail dresses with a red sash. Red is the colour of love. Go for it :)

You might want to think of an "accent" colour so its not to over powering. Just touches of it here and there. Navy wold work great with that. OR You could have navy and white with red flowers. That would look amazing!

P.S I just saw someone wrote in some countries red is unlucky but in asian countries it is very lucky. Its the wedding colour.

I had black and white and i found it very hard to work with without looking over powering.

My personal choice would be red and white, but you are right - they are all very nice.  Does it matter that "everyone else" is doing it?  It is your day, go with the one YOU like the most!

I guess it really depends on when you plan on having your wedding.  If you're having a winter wedding, White and Navy.  Spring- White and baby blue/ or pastel pink.  And red (depending on the shade) would be good for summer or fall.  You also need to think of the availability of the colors.  For example, I chose cream, a pale mint green and a dark purple for a September wedding and they weren't the easiest colors to find because my main color (the green) was more of a spring color, rather than a fall color.  Good luck!! :)

If i were you i would pick black and white it is the best and it is your wedding so don't do things to favor other people, it is just about you and your husband-to-be. this is suppose to just happen once so do wat you want not wat you think others want (that is how i think)

they white and navy would be a fresh take ....because white and red is played out...the pastel pink and baby blue wouldn't be nice...i can picture a white dress and the bride maids in navy dresses...i think it would be really pretty especially with navy and white decorations...
