Question:

Wedding veil?

Hi, Is there anyway I can wear a veil at the ceremony, but still have a flower in my hair so if I take the veil off at the reception, I still have something in my hair? Any pictures please?

(I know I can wear a tiara, but I am really keen for a flower!)

  2. Sure, wish you would have said if your hair is long or short. Wear the flowers at the back of your head, up high,  and pin the veil under them to flow down your back.

If you have the kind of veil that will also go over your face, you can still do that.

When you take the veil off for the reception, there will be your flowers.

I love flowers, too, so much prettier than a tiarra, in my book anyway.

From a style from the 1960s, brides wore a circlet of flowers, and still had the veil pinned underneath at the back. Retro always works, tried and true designs last through the ages. You can have a large circlet, like Ducky did in 4 Weddings and a funeral, or a small one like Jenny in Forest Gump.

  3. oh, yea! If you plan on wearing your hair up, you can wear the veil so the comb sticks under the up-do and then wear a flower (or a few flowers) above the up-do (hope that makes sense....) Wedding magazines have great pics of different hair styles, better than any I've found online. Good luck and congrats!

  4. Sure! You just gotta know how to do it:

  5. I'm sure there's a woman in your family or friends that can come up with an idea...ask em'....good luck and congrats....

    have a wonderful life......nuff said!!!!

  6. wear the veil under your updo and put a flower over it!  it works quite well!

    good luck!

  7. Yes. You could stick the flowers to one side like this: http://www.weddingtactics.com/wp-content... and pin the veil in the center so it is not over the flowers.

Or have the flowers sitting either above or below the veil like this (even though this particular picture is kind of ugly, you get the idea of what I mean): http://www.paradise-veils.com/images/gra...

Make sure you choose really hardy flowers that won't wilt (your florist should be able to advise you)- or go for silk.

  8. Here is a view  that you could easily convert with a comb filled with flowers or a simple orchid either on the side or at the  back of your head, I hope that you like this idea !
