Weddings in Vegas- The Venetian Help!?

Question

I would like to know if anyone knows anything about The Venetian?

I'm getting married in Vegas next summer and dont want a c**p vegas wedding, has anyone been to a wedding at the Venetain? it looks pretty nice online but I can really find that many pictures... I was thinking about the Ponte al di Piazza (Bridge Over the Square). Any info would help alot.

Ask on www.theknot.com's local board. There are a few brides there that have gotten married at The Venetian. Most of the brides there are having weddings that happen to be in Vegas, but not Vegas weddings.

The Venetian is beautiful! It is one of the nicest casinos on the south strip. Especially since the addition of the Palazzo. Their catering is a little on the expensive side, but reasonable compared to other strip locations. He proposed at the Venetian in front of the big waterfall so we were looking into having the wedding there too.

Lake Las Vegas is also very nice, but very FAR from everything. It's about 45 min to 1 hour away from the strip. There isn't a whole lot going on out there just a little shopping center and a lot of big houses.

Do the bridge at the Venetian!!  The pkg is 3000 and well worth it. The pictures they take are beautiful and it really turns out well. And they treat you very very well.
