Question

1. Sharks resigned Roenick.....did you think JR would retire or were you expecting this?

2. Who do you think will land Tucker?

3. You're offered two choices, which do you choose:

A) Go to a Tampa Bay Lightning game and you get ice level seats. After the game you get a tour of the Lightning locker room and dinner with Lecavalier.

B) Ice level seats to a game 7 of the SCFs.

4. Have you seen 'The Love Guru'? What did you think of it?

5. If you were to right a hockey book on a player (past or current) who would you write it on?

6. Who do you think the Russians will grab next? They've gotten Simon and a few others already.

7. Has your team signed any of it's UFAs yet? Or have they signed all of the ones you thought they would?

8. Do you think Ottawa will get what it wants (according to the Ottawa Sun) Conklin or Roloson......or do you think they'll end up with a different goalie? Who?

1)  I never really thought about what Roenick would do next season.  Him and Cheechoo are in the same book to me.  They both are a bit injury prone and a little over-hyped.  I find them both average, BUT Roenick has a decade on Cheechoo.  Many will disagree with me on this, but whatever.  This is what I have seen, from what little I see of San Jose this years, and the Yotes and Kings in the past few seasons.

2)  I choose B…why?  Because the Lightning WILL be in the SC finals next season…there is some optimism for you!

3)  The Leafs will resign him.

4)  I will watch that movie when the Leafs win the Stanley Cup…

5)  Martin St. Louis.  Not that he is my most beloved player…or anything, but he has a story.  There are a ton of players that worked hard and had the ability to jump right into the NHL at 18, and then there are guys like St. Louis that had to work to prove that size in the NHL does not matter sometimes.  Ahhh, the ol’ Rudy story.

6)  I really don't care about the Russian League.  

7)  I am sure you know that Vinny got a little contract, ha.

1. He announced that he would return to the sharks for 08-09 2 weeks after they lost...so I already knew.

1.) I thought he'd stick around for one or two more seasons.

2.) Hopefully he'll end up with the same fate as Domi.  Unfortunately he's a decent player.  So I think maybe the Rangers want him to replace Avery...?

3.) Game 7 SCF, for sure.

4.) Never saw it, don't intend to watch it.

5.) Scott Stevens, and how he impacted the Devils.

6.) Emery, but not even the Russians would want him.

7.) Mike Mottau and Sheldon Brookbank.  Hopefully they can ink Pandolfo and Brylin.

8.) Probably Conklin, because he'll be fighting Fleury for the #1 spot, so he wants to go somewhere where he knows he'll start.

5.Probably Lemieux or Koivu, just because they had/have great careers and they both fought cancer and continued with playing hockey. They are just great guys!

1) It doesn't surprise me and I think LITY and Doug Wilson had a long talk about this.

2) Rangers throw money at anyone, but I don't know if Tucker can keep up with life in the big apple.

3) B though whichever woman I am dating would likely be on her knees if she heard I could have her meet Lecavalier.

4) I haven't seen it yet. When not here, and even when I am here, my focus is on finals (next Thursday) - maybe sometime during the 4th of July weekend in between BBQs and drinking cases of beer lol

5) Patrick Roy if it hasn't been done yet. If it has? Saku Koivu

6) Sergei Primadonnakoff .. cuz Simon is gonna need a translator over there

7) Not sure, but I do like the trade for Tanguay and hope it pays off

8) Conklin has more upside, but Roloson remains a top notch goalie. We'll see how it "pans out"

1) Well, think about this. Gary Roberts was born in... 1966? and he was born in... 1970ish? He's younger than Gary Roberts, so he probably has to compete with him now that Roberts isn't retiring... haha good Roenick though, if he's healthy enough to go on playing then i'm happy for him.

2) Some team in the Eastern Conference.

3) B. I could careless about TB. Now, if it was the Penguins - i'd jump on that offer in a heartbeat.

4) Noo. I heard it bombed in theaters though. When i first saw the previews i thought it would be funny. But then seeing Mike Myers EVERYWHERE i looked (shows, previews, MTV Movie Awards) kind of killed the part of me that wanted to go see it. I'm surprised Myers didn't pop up at the Hockey Awards, to tell you the truth!

5) right a hockey book? didn't know you could do that =P

Malone's. It'd be a good book! I'd wait to see if Baby William would play and then i'd be able to write a book on 3 generations of hockey players.

7) F THIS QUESTION! I don't even want to talk about it. We already lost Malone and Roberts. and JUUUUUUST when i'm starting to like Orpik, I have to start worrying about if we're gonna lose him too?! Total BS and the Pens need to start making some deals.... so no, we haven't. and i'm NOT a happy camper. lol
