  1. There is a cable that runs from the motor to the head of the weed eater that turns the head that has come apart from ether the motor or the head.....If it is new I would return it or have it fixed at any lawnmower shop.....

Most likely it came apart at the head, there is a E-clip that attaches the cable and head together that has come off......This usually happens when the string gets caught on something and the operator pulls the weed eater upward and pulls the E- clip out........

I have had to replace a lot of E-clips due to this action from my customers.....and it's not easy to do.......

  2. It sounds like either the line is crossed on the spool or the drive line to your spool head is not making contact with the spool head. Still under Warranty? I would take it back and ask for assistance in your new product.

  3. This sounds like a clutch problem.  It may be stuck or defective.  As in the other answer, if it is new, take it back.  You don't want to be taking the thing apart or you will void the warrenty.  There is a centrifical clutch where the shaft attaches to the motor.  If that is not working the head will not turn.
