  1. This is not a "game".  You are a very silly little girl.

  2. It's not a game and you should know what your doing before tampering with it,it's  a spiritual thing supposed to draw the spirits.

  3. Ouija - not to be messed about with and not a game.

  4. quija board and dont play one aparently they do work and can attract evil spirits so unless you wanna go all exorcist on people dont do it

  5. Ouija boards definately do work! you can use a glasss as a pointer and letters drawn on pieces of paper. needs at least two people to play. Please ask for only positive contact and for the highest good of all present, (dont want any nasties coming in). Both put fingers lightly on top of glass and ask questions. Easy as that. If any spirits wish to contact you, they will. They use the letters to spell out words.

  6. Its not a game and its called an Ouija Board. Seriously, I wouldn't if I were you.

  7. I have the "game" and it don't work. I have used it several times since i was a kid and it does not work. its by Mattel. Some believe it attracts evil spirits and that they can talk to you through the board. Supposedly the spirits move your hands to the letters to spell out words. They don't.

  8. Ouija Board is the phrase you are seeking and there is no difinitive answer but i personally wouldn't go near one.

Have a look on the internet where there seem to be masses of for and against arguements as well as instructions on how to make a home made one.

My sister used to terrify me when i was small by telling me stories of ouija boards

  9. Mucking about with this stuff could end in insanity.

  10. its a Ouiji Board and please dont muck about with it.

  11. Its an Ouija Board - and no it is not a game to talk to spirits - many awful things have happend to people who dabble in things they don't understand

  12. it's spelt oujio board.

I wouldn't dare mess with spirits, unless i want to be tormented by them for all eternity

  13. Ouija board, dont know if they work but dont know if it should be treated as a game

  14. ouija board

some people believe the name comes from the french and german words for 'yes'

however, another explanation is that the person who created the 'modern' (1880's) design for the board, Charles Kennard, called the new board Ouija (pronounced 'wE-ja) after the Egyptian word for good luck. Ouija is not really Egyptian for good luck, but since the board reportedly told him it was during a session, the name stuck.

it is useful if you are into psychological experimentation. It can give a good insight into the ideomotor effect and the power of suggestion

  15. An ouija (often pronounced "wee-gee" or called weegee box) is any flat surface printed with letters, numbers, and other symbols, to which a planchette or movable indicator points, supposedly in answer to questions from people at a séance. The fingers of the participants are placed on the planchette that then moves about the board to spell out messages. Ouija is a trademark for a talking board currently sold by Parker Brothers.[1] While the word is not considered a genericized trademark, it has become a trademark which is often used generically to refer to any talking board. In popular culture these boards are considered to be a spiritual gateway used to contact the dead; however, the only evidence for this is the various accounts of users, which have not been scientifically proven.

Spiritualists who believe Ouija boards can be used to make actual contact with the spirit world feel that the act of hindering a medium’s ability to use his or her own eyes while the board is in use effectively places too great of a handicap on the whole exercise (see ad hoc hypothesis). (This argument stems from the belief that contacted spirits actually utilize the eyes of the medium during a Ouija session in order to point to the letters and words needed to form a message. Most believers of this notion believe that the board has no intrinsic power in and of itself, but rather, is used simply as a tool to aid a medium while in communication with the spirit world. Although many people have made positive connections with the Ouija board, there have been several horrifying myths and stories.[8]

  16. I wouldnt bother if you dont understand it all - i wouldnt dare even try it myself - dont annoy the spirit world!!

  17. Ouija Board ??

    Load of superstitious tosh

Don't let those who hide under their blankets tell you how to run your life. Let them sort out their own problems first...

Now that should cause a few ripples; hang on to your lucky rabbit's foot folks (hey, it wasn't too lucky for the rabbit, was it???)
