Week long surfing camps?

does anyone know where i could go to a surfing camp next summer?

i live in philly and the only place i want to go to camp is new jersey.

I can help you find a whole bunch of week long surfing "day camps", but I have never heard or a in-residence surf camp in the New Jersey area. Perhaps HB Snake is out there, and he might have an answer for you in Maryland. Land is just way too expensive in sea shore communities to devote it to a residential camp of any kind on the ocean in New Jersey. Beach from lots (that's lots, without houses built on them) sell for Millions of Dollars. And beach from houses rent for over $2,500. per week.

If you have a place to stay, and you are still interested, send me an E-mail, and I can point you to some schools & shops that offer programs  in South Jersey.  Also, because seashore houses cost that much, I live in Philly too.

The only sleep away surf camp I have seen on the east coast is in the Outer Banks, and it aint cheap!

I think there a couple in SoCal, you see ads for them sometimes in ESM.
