Weekend with family how to entertain little cousins?

Yes, I am 13 and i normally get stuck with my too little cousins 24/7 for whatever time the family reunion thing is. I have a small family so its just me my 2 aunts, 2 uncle, parents and grandparents (only one side). So, i'm the only other kid really so they like adore me. But the look to me for stuff to do and its not that bad if I'm sort of entertained too. One of my favorites was wax museum and they kept calling the night watcher a gardner (not sure how it relates).

What I do with my cousins is i get some plates, food and napkins and stuff then i go outside into the backyard or anywhere outside and i pretend that we are in a safari and that to survive we need to find things to eat. So i wrap the food up in napkins and hide it and then hide the plates. Once they have found the stuff i get them to find sticks and twigs and make a pretend camp fire to cook the food. This keeps my cousins entertained 4 ages. One is a boy and one is a girl, same ages as yours.

Another game is to make some playdough and from then you can play  resturants and stuff. I find that imaginative  games work really well with lttle kids.

One game we used to play as kids and was a favorite at family reunions was the "scavenger hunt".  It kept us busy for hours.  We would get a paper lunch bag and a list and were instructed to come back when we had everything on the list

a rock

a blade of grass

a feather

four leaf clover

one piece of garbage (found outside - not from the garbage can)

a piece of glass

the list went on

at some point our parents would call us back in and declare a winner by the amount of items we had checked off the list.

Sounds like you are a good cousin - it is nice that you are so considerate of your younger relatives.  You are right though - if you don't have any ideas about what you want to do they will pester to you "play" with them.

There are a couple of other crafts that used to be a favorite too

(the great thing about the god's eyes is that you have to eat the popsicle to get the popsicle stick)

And as long as you have some popsicle sticks going you can also make paper plate puppets.

get them to draw, play card games or board games. Read them a story. I hope you get some time to speak with the adults however, since thats how you learn just as little ones learn from you. I hope you get a break from them

have a girls day/night. paint their nails and do their hair. let them play dress up. the trick is to do something really active so they are worn out.
