Weekl maintenance of a PVC intex 12' x 3' pool?

Ok, I got this pool and I put the water and filter on, I bought a 4 in 1 pool shock as recommended by a friend it is suppose to reduce organic contaminants, clarifies water, enhances filtration and does not raise PH; I also got a chlorine floater & test strips any help is gladly appreciated. HELP!

I think you covered the basics, but chlorine tablets work better and if u have any problems go to namco
