Question:

Weekly Intense Driving Courses Do They Work?

I am looking to pass my driving test as quickly as I can. I have seen a number of local driving instructors who do a week long intensive driving course that is 30 hours over 6 days....has anyone done this? Did you feel confident driving after that long? Did you pass first time?

  1. i was thinking to do that, but people recommend not to.

you can pass with intensive course, but if you learn in a longer period of time will make you a better driver.

  2. if you have no driving experience at all then I'd advise against it.

If you've been driving around either without a lisense or with a lisensed driver for a while then it could be for you

  3. They teach u how to pass your test rather than how to drive safely.

Yes its true, you may be able to pass your test after one of these intensive courses, but u will no where near confident enough to drive safely day by day (unless ur a cocky sod!)

BAsically, I know its frustrating learning to drive but wouldnt u rather take your time and know that u r a capable driver, not risking any lives on the road bcuz u have done an intensive course??

  4. These help some people, but they are quite expensive and there is no guarantee. the biggest problem would matching the course with a test date. 30 hours of tuition should be enough, but realistically, i dont think it would increase your chances a great deal. Still, if the price is good enough, why not?

  5. I booked an intensive driving course which was supposed to be driving for 5 days 9-5. However on the first day I found this way too much so did it over 2 weeks instead. It took me 18 days from day 1 to pass my driving test, and yes I did pass first time. I would definitly say that the intensive courses are the best way to pass.
