Weekly rental - Huge estate for Wedding?

Would this work...To rent a huge estate with nice grounds, ect...Possible for a week just to be able to have alittle time before and after in it...Or even weekend rentals/days

I moved away from home for college 450 miles and never went back.  I met a local girl and we got engaged SO when my family and friends from home wanted to come I found a lodge that was used for summer camps and rented it out for a week.  That way my family and friends could come and not worry about the expense of a hotel or bed and breakfast.  

They had LOTS of fun at the lodge and one buddy and his family still come back to the lodge for their family reunions! ! !

Absolutely! You could check http://www.vrbo.com or http://www.homeaway.com .

It's good because since you'll already be settled and staying at the home, you won't have to worry about the stress of traveling and transporting everything.

And you could even consider having some people stay with you at the house some days, like your bridal party, parents, or out of town guests.

I think it's  a really good idea.

it is possible but you would have to discuss that option with the venue you are wanting to use
