I have a brick of cheese where the serving size is one ounce. How do I measure out the serving size without a scale. Mine is broken but I need to be really strict on what I eat.

  1. I don't know what sort of cheese you're about to eat, but one ounce of cheese is approximately the size of 4 stacked dice.

  2. An ounce of cheese is about the size of four dice.

  3. cut the cheese into the number of pieces equal to the number of ounces. then eat as many pieces as ounces per serving.

  4. How many ounces are in the brick?  Cut it in that many equal sized pieces.  Begin in the middle, cut it in half, then in half and in half again, until you get to the right number of pieces for the number of ounces in the package.

  5. For measuring volume, Two Tablespoon equals one ounce.

    One cup equals 8 ounce.

With a scale you measure weight and not volume.

Just look at the package of your cheese. It should give you the weight.

Start cutting in to halves, til you get to a portion that equals one ounce.
