Weight and height and length ?

i am flying soon and i would like to take a box and i was told that my box should not exceed "62 so how do i calculate that? my box is 20" 20" 24"

That measurement is just the sum of height, width, and length.

20 + 20 + 24 = 64, just a little over the limit.

(If all they do is eyeball it and don't take out a tape measure,

you might be able to take it.)
