I just answered a question about pregnancy weight gain and had to give my answer in kilo's (we use kg's and cm's in Australia) - can anyone tell me the conversation numbers?

I am 30 weeks pregnant (nearly) and have put on 2.4 kilos (2400grams) - how much is this in pounds?

are you sure you have only put on 2.4kgs? surely at 30wks pregnant it would be more as the baby would weigh at least 1.5 kg an then there is the placenta an amniotic fluid an water retention and weight?

i know i am 34wks an have put on about 10kgs the amount a pregnant woman should put on in pregnancy is between 15kg-20kg....

if its correct, you are one very lucky lady lol or have a very small baby :-)

wow you are just a very lucky lady then :-) i was small sz 8 when i got pregnant with my first i ended up putting on 3 dress sizes an had a 10lb baby lol

  2. dat is approximately 5.2910053 pounds round it off it is 5.3 pounds

  3. 5.3 pounds

  4. Wow, I just wanted to say you've put barely any weight on. Good Stuff, the baby is weighing in good.

I put on too much weight. I lost close to 8kg, at the start of my recent pregnancy, due to morning sickness. I was hospitalised because I was that ill.

Then I doubled up, and weighed 80kg. Putting on a massive 38kg. I had to see a dietician all threw my pregnancy, be put on a diet to gain weight. I suffer from a very fast metabolism, which is very much a curse.

I wasn't used to being *bigger* and found it a real struggle. Even after birth with my new found b*****s I'd bump them on things and forget. My Husband however loved it ;)

  5. When changing pounds to kilos you divide the amount in pounds by 2.2.
