Weight gain on pill?

just wondering what exactly causes weight gain for some people on the contraceptive pill? does it increase appetite for food or is it the hormones that cause the weight gain? thanks

Horomones can make weight gain.

But depending on the pill.

Some say on the back in the tiny font that it can cause weight gain if you take it for a certain amount of time.

Hormonal changes stimulate an increase in appetite, so in essence it is totally up to ther person wether they put on weight or not, just have to resist the snacks :D
