If I want to lose weight and build some muscle, not big, just average built, should I loose weight first and then start lifting weights, or should i lift weights and cardio together? I've been lifting weights and doing cardio for 2 weeks, 5 days a week and the weight-loss process is going slow, i do see difference in mirror but no big results on scale. Maybe if i stop lifting weights i will lose weight faster?

  1. first off i like your username..Ichiro 4 life..haha im from seattle and hes cool..anyways you are not seeing weight loss because you are adding muscle at the same time..when i first started to work out i lifted weights and did cardio at the same time..If you do stop lifting weights you will lose weight depending on how much cardio you do..if you do about 20 min of cardio a day thats not really going to cut it on the weight machine..you need to get in atleast 40 min a day to burn fat..don't forget to take your protein after your workout because that will help you build muscle as well..and take it right after your workout

    hope this helps
