Weight loss and muscle?

if i lift weights 3 days a week and eat smaller portions of meals but majoirity of the meal is lean protein then the rest is veggies and drink water, will i lose weight and gain muslce and how long will it take to see a difference

  1. a bit random since we don't know your current weight and eating habits? give us an idea of what you eat now and your weight and height.


  2. you still have to eat carbs in small portions and do a bit of cardio before starting the weights...muscles need energy from complex carbs to burn fat away...you can drink lowfat milk and green tea too...

  3. Hello, I think that 5' 10" 160 is a pretty good hwp, if not a little on the small side. All I do is try not to eat processed foods. Anything from the earth or animal you should be okay. check out Ross Enamait, he has some great power building exercises.

  4. your weight will be replaced by muscle so you won't loose weight, but you will look like you  have.  Time depends on your body , how often you work at it, how hard you work at it, etc.  Keep up the good work
