Weird,,,,why is it when you are stuck in a traffic jam......?

your row moves really slow but not the rows beside you what so ever and when you move to the other row, the row you are in now will move slow instead and the row you was in starts to move faster than the row you are in now?....

its not always that the lane you chose moves slower ..

its that you compare the movement of the lanes mostly when your lane is slower .. other time you just dont care about the other slower lanes .. cuz u r not in it ...

PICK A LANE AND STAY IN IT, YOU'LL GET THERE JUST AS FAST. THE TRAFFIC SLOWS FROM PEOPLE CHAGING LANES. AS YOU AND OTHERS LEAVE YOUR LANE THE CARS BEHIND YOU MOVE FORWARD. THATS WHATS HAPPENING IN THE OTHER LANES.

You are absolutely right. It happens to me all the time. Once I had to get to a friends wedding in a hurry (I was best man) and I changed lanes about 59 times in 5 minutes and only gone 1/10th of a mile forward according to the highway mile marker. Then I looked at my odometer and it said I had gone 10 miles. Can you believe it? I went 9 and 9/10th's miles sideways and burned a quarter of a tank in gas!!!!!!!!  Then I looked over to the next lane and the same car I passed when I got on the highway went by me!!!! He smiled and waved at me!! I was 3 hours late. The bride called the whole thing off because her stupid future husband's stupid friend wasn't at the ceremony with the stupid ring!
