Weird, Light Period, Anyone Have Answers?

Usually my period lasts 5-6 days and has a medium flow. I thought i started my period last week thursday but it has been really light almost to the point where I can just wear a liner instead of a pad. Also, the color of the blood is more on the pinkish side and not red at all. It gets heavier and lighter.. and sometimes it even stops. My boyfriend and I are sexually active but we are very careful and have never had unprotected s*x. Can someone please help me?

its just a wierd period,we all get them,you startd or stopped birth control pills recently?if so this can be the reason,its just hormone fluctuations!
