Weird, touchy feely table?

I am a server and tonight I had a table where one of the men (of two couples) put his hand on my side and pushed me lightly out of the way when he came to sit down (they were waiting for him and I did not see him come up). I flinched a little but his hand stayed on me so I stepped back where he couldn't reach me. He gave me a funny look but I let it go and treated them like normal bc I know some people are just like that and don't realize that some strangers don't want to be touched by them.

Well, they kept saying they weren't ready to order and suddenly flagged down my coworker who they asked to take their order. He did bc we help each other, and I kept waiting on them but then they kept treating him like their server and telling me they didn't need anything when I was there. They ordered dessert to go and I gave them their check which they gave right back to the other server 20 seconds after I left the table!

Then when they were leaving they yelled at the manager saying

WOW. I'm interested to hear how your manager handled this. Mine probably would have blown it off, since some people are just jerks.

Funny that he mentioned that he touched you. Funnier still that he lied about where. Maybe he felt guilty or like he may be in trouble?

Was it an older man? A lot of times older people are touchier with younger people. I don't know if it's a power thing, or if they move their grand kids out of the way?

Blow it off as best you can. Some people like free food, ya know?

yeah thats crazy he had no right to touch you and im sure if thats your section then the other server isnt supposed to be over their anyway but if you didnt try to take care of your station you would have gotten in trouble with you manager. some people are just rude thats why i couldnt be a waiter . im sorry you got violated they should have told you if they had a problem instead of the manager they just did that to get you in trouble because that guy that touched you was atracted to you and he was pissed off you werent flurting with him i hope you week gets better try to forget about it.
