Weird Bird?

Question

i was looking out my window when a seen a dead bird laying there...i didn't know what kind of bird it was....it had a humming bird like beak was about the size of a guenia pig and had a very short tail...kinda like a ducks....oh and it was like brown or something....does anyone know what this bird could be?

Sounds like either a snipe or a woodcock.  Check out the pictures on the RSPB site to see if you can tell them apart!

it was maybe a brown bird. im not sure or maybe a deformed pigeon

well... the best i could tell you is to look at the dichotomouse key.. the link is below.. maybe that could help you figure it out.. i wasn't there so i don't know exactly what it looks like.. but by your description i believe it is Killdeer possibly....
