Question:

Weird Dreams about fears? Please help?

In my dream I was looking out a window into my backyard and saw a huge black cat. (like a leopard or Jaguar, but bigger) It was very strange because I felt horrified and screamed very loudly. I'm confused because I actually felt afraid and I woke up shaking. I'm not afraid of cats, by the way. I woke up around 4:00 am.

I'm not sure if this next dream has anything to do with it, but the next night I had a dream where my bed was covered with black ants, termites and beetles. I hate those insects, but in my dream, I didn't care and I went back to sleep. I woke up calm at 3:00 am.

  1. when you dream you dream in symbols. these symbols are created in the sub-conscious to help you deal with problems in your life that you can't or won't deal with in the awake state. you may not be afraid of cats the size of normal house size cats but in your dream these were much ,much larger indicating that a problem in your life is larger than most that you deal with. you need to do some open-minded searching to find out what the problem is in your life that is making you so scared. what happened the first night in your dream and what you woke up to is called a panic attack. the next night you dreamed of things that you are normally afraid of black ants, termites and beetles. these three are considered to be destructive yet they did not frighten you. that indicates in your dream that they are small problems in your life that you are capable of handling. they are just symbols. your mind in your dream acknowledges this. that is why you were not scared when you woke up. you do not need to deal with this aspect of your dream. but you do need to do some serious dealing with the first nights dream. it definitely needs to be overcome. taking a good, long hard look at your life should show you the answer to what is going on in your life that needs to be dealt with. once you find the problem you need to face it down and then put it behind you. is this going to be easy, probably not. but you can do it and you klnow you can. many blessings to you in your life.

  2. Pish posh. Dreams are nothing but thoughts you have while you are asleep that you remember. Calm down woman. Everyone wants to think that they are "special", but things like that in stories hardly if ever happen.

Don't get mad J. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

  3. First of all, all dreams are matters of the spirit, not the physical body.  So when you interpret dreams, you should interpret it from the perspective of what you would want to be forever.

In your case, what I see is that there's something about you on an eternal level, that will seem familiar, but will also frighten you, which will cause confusion.  You'll wonder why something you want so badly can scare you to the point that you're shaking.

The second dream relates to the first because it's telling you that you're soon going to be exploring beyond the areas of your mind guarded by that black cat, and while it seems both scary and familiar going in, once you're actually in and get into exploring more deeply, it's so comfortable that you could actually see a day when you'd let those insects crawl all over you, and enjoy it, too, because you'd be fully aware of your own immortality.

The fact that you woke up calmly at precisely 3:00am is a revelation of a number of three: the divine trinity: a message from God.  The fact that it appeared on a clock when you woke up is a revelation that the time is near for these things to start taking place!  It's exciting and fun! :D  The interesting thing here, though, about waking up is that this reality we live in every day is the same reality that we dream in.  We just see it from different perspectives.  So really, the THIRD dream began when you woke up, at 3AM.  Third time is a charm, your trinity is complete, and the third dream of the day (which started when you went to sleep the night before) becomes the longest one -- the one that is the nightmare of getting up and going about your daily routine, then coming home and going back to bed.  After a while, that gets to feeling like being grounded for having done something wrong.  You begin to wonder what kind of real fun they're having on the dream side that we're not participating in.

  4. You're probably just thinking of your opposites. You hate certain bugs, but when they crawl all over you, you don't freak out. You don't hate cats, not necessarily love them, but don't hate them. You freak out in a dream. Dreams can be weird, and you were probably having a backward dream. Maybe you weren't thinking straight, and maybe you just need a heck of a lot more sleep. Who knows?
