Weird Lights outside my house?

I was sitting down watching tv with my dog last night, I looked up and a bright orange/yellow light about the size of a baseball flew up to the window, stopped for about 2 seconds and then shot of and I think it blew up because within a split second after it went shooting off I heard a huge BAM and my dog started freaking out. Can anyone tell me what the heck happened?

I can tell you what happened A bright orange/yellow light about the size of a baseball flew up to the window, stopped for about 2 seconds and then shot of. That's what happened.

wow i have no idea of what that could possibly be! just see if it happens again, and do you look outside and look at it? maybe someone threw something
