Question:

Weird Sore Throat maybe strep?

Well first I started out two days ago with a high fever around 103F and the fever went away yesterday but I have still have this sore throat. if I look into my throat I can see white lots of white on my left tonsil but my right one is perfectly fine it doesn't even hurt. My fever is gone and I feel perfectly fine except for my throat any suggestions?

  1. This isn't strep season (if you are in summer of North America)It probably is a "coxackie virus" . Also strep ususally efectsd both sides and it isn't whits as much as red spots on the palate. You can go to the Dr's for a strep test,but if you are feeling better- it probably isn't worth it.(also strep will go away on its own also)


  2. yeah you probably have strep because people get white dots on their tonsils with strep.

    i would go to the doctor and get a strep test just to be safe.

  3. definalely sounds like strep Dont Go Untreated! Infection that goes on can cause heart problems

  4. go to the dr and get tested for mono and strep.
