There was a bug in my house I've never seen before. When i first saw it i though it was a spider. But when I caught it, it looked more like an ant, but it wasn't niether of them. It was yellowish in color, and had only two eyes. It had 4 legs, not including two long other leg looking things in front. It's mouth was crazy. Well, it looked like the predators mouth, it had 4 independent fang type things that could be moved individually. It viciously bit into a q-tip that i put in front of it. Didn't appear to be venomous. I have absolutely no idea what it was. If you can tell me what it is I would appreciate it. Let me kow if you need a better description.

  1. Where do you live?

Without knowing where you live (and whether or not you are in the range for them), my first guess would be a wind scorpion (named for its speed and its resemblance to scorpions although it is not actually a scorpion), also known as a sun spider (because they are typically found in arid climates, but not a true spider either).  Technically, they are called solpugids, and are a type of arachnid that unlike spiders and scorpions produce absolutely zero venom.  They are harmless (although they do try to bite when threatened), but most people find them to look fairly frightening.  In the middle east, where they are referred to as camel spiders, they can reach a size over 5 inches!

    ***Addition to your added info***

There are multiple species of wind scorpions around the world.  Some get huge (like in the middle east).  The ones in New Mexico won't get that big.

  3. I think you are talking about Camel Spider(Silifugae), has strange mouth too, it is actually not a true spiders, belongs to false scorpion, they're also harmless, not venomous, so their mouth parts are strange:
