Weird evolution theory?

If monkeys evolved into humans, why dont they continue evolving? Will all moneys eventually become humans?

No, because humans are not more evolved than monkeys.  there is no such thing as 'more evolved' and 'less evolved' there is only 'differently evolved'.

It only has to do with adapting to the environment.  It's not about making a 'better' creature because there's no such thing.

And like others said, humans did not evolve from modern monkeys.  Both modern monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor.

It's a bit like asking 'If me and my cousin both came from my grandmother, why don't we both look the same?'

Humans and monkeys are evolutionary *cousins*.

We did not descend from any modern species of primate - instead we and they all evolved from a common ancestor (which is now extinct).

Monkeys ARE still evolving - but they are very unlikely to evolve towards being more human-like.

Firstly, they are in a different environment from what the "proto-humans" were in, so they are subject to different selective pressures, and will evolve differently.

Secondly, even if some did start to become more human-like, there is already a species filling the "intelligent, bipedal, tool-using ape" niche: us! They would have to be somehow BETTER at it than we are in order to displace or compete with us.

actually evolution says we share a common ancestor with monkeys, but after the split we evolved our own ways. so the monkeys aren't or "evolutionary parents" but our "evolutionary siblings, or even cousins"

plus there is no ultimate plan for evolution, so we wouldn't expect humans to evolve again.(by which i mean "we wouldn't expect them to evolve from another creature" the human species will always evolve so long as it survives)

evolution does not have a "goal".

it just happens.

Monkeys did not evolve into humans. They share a common ancestor and no, monkeys will never evolve into humans. You need to learn the theory of evolution because you don't currently have the faintest  idea. Sorry!
