Question:

Weird eye problem?

Well here it goes. The other morning I woke up and saw a little black line through my left eyeball. I figured something was just on my eye. So I get out of bed, wipe my eyes, look for anything, and theres NOTHING on my eye. So I figure if I go into the shower and let the water hit my eye, it might get rid of it. Nope. Basically, what it looks like, is a black line, like a worm. Honestly, it looks like a black, 2D sperm... So I move my eye, it follows, it even seems to kind of change positions whenever I move my eye sometimes. Does anybody have ANY clue what it could be? Its kinda worrying me...

  1. As we age, the vitreous, which is the gel that makes up to shape of the inside of the eye, turns from a solid gel to a liquid. As get even older, the liquid begins to dry out and small floaters form. Generally, floaters are harmless. However, the vitreous is attached firmly to the retina, and sometimes when it detaches as it liquifies and dries, it can tear the retina. The resulting retinal hole or tear is serious. When someone has a floater, they should see their ophthalmologist immediately to rule out retinal disorders. If flashing lights and loss of vision present, this should occur immediately as well.

  2. Well, it probably is an eye floater. I have those when I get headaches. It may be a sign of an optical problem, so see an optometrist. It may also be a sign of migraines.

  3. It could be some kind of weird, 2d sperm, but that is unlikely. The more obvious solution is pink eye. But since your eye isnt pink, that might not be it either. In my opinion, i think when you got really p**s-drunk last tuesday, some of your friends took you to a tattoo parlor and got a black sperm tattooed on your eye. That appears to be the most logical solution.
