I just need to know that this is all anxiety. My anxiety is horrible because I am 19 weeks pregnant tomorrow and the medicine I was taking before I became pregnant I cant take as big of a dose and when I do it makes me even more anxious because I'm pregnant and taking medication. I get weird feelings in my head like I could pass out even though it never happens, it also affects my vision which freaks me out even more, I have an anxiety disorder but sometimes I get scared that it could be something worse than my anxiety.. I dont know what to do. Please help me. Anyone have the same problems??

  1. Yes, it's anxiety related.

When this happens-the dizziness-say to yourself "Yes this is anxiety and it's uncomfortable, but it will pass" Then, do deep breathing from  your diaphragm and breathe in for 4 and out for 4, increasing to 8. Deep breathing and the above statement gets rid of my dizziness.

Try lemon balm capsules, they will help you relax. Also, Chamomile tea with lavender and lemon balm (Traditional Medicinals) found at your health food store. Also, I HIGHLY recommend this book. It has and continues to help me TREMENDOUSLY without medication. Do these exercises every day and you can alter the chemicals in your brain and get rid of your worry and fears all without medication. Exercise is excellent as well.

  2. Its anxiety.. Im sure youve been to the doctor in the past 19 weeks so if something was wrong he/she would have told you.. Im not pregnant but i do have terrible anxiety and panic attacks.. Im not even going to tell you my symptoms because if your anxious right now im sure youll start to feel my symptoms.. That always happens to me =/.. Just know that you have to accept what your feeling.. Your mind is playing tricks on you and eventually it will go away try to do something else and not concentrate on your panic.. Maybe you could give a friend a call or watch tv.. Good luck and if your still concerned try to give your doctor a call and im sure he/she will do their best to help you out.

  4. You have an anxiety disorder and have been controlling it with medications.  Think of your pregnancy as an opportunity.  You can't take your regular meds for obvious reasons, so get with a counselor and develop some coping skills to help you deal with the anxiety naturally.  My advice: find a counselor and ask them about cognitive behavioral therapy (or at least find some good literature on CBT).  Good luck.

  5. I've got a mild case of anxiety, But I dont take meds for it.  It could be that your meds are having a reaction to some other medication.

I will pray for you, I hope that you can get the problem fixed.

    Congrats on your baby.

    Good Luck

  6. When I was prego I had anxiety attacks and also high blood pressure both of these caused similar symptoms

  7. I'm not pregnant but I have similar problems. You could have a slight case of anemia, which I've heard shows up a lot in pregnant women. I am anemic and I feel like that a lot. It might not be your anxiety but it's not a major problem. Go see your doctor. He/she can help you better than I can.

  8. It sounds like anxiety to me, maybe even a panic attack?

You should talk to your doctor though to be sure, it'll help you relax if you know for sure.

    Good luck :)

  9. I take Lexapro 10 mg and it has helped me have a life again, I used to not even go out cause my anxiety was sooo bad. Ask your doctor if that wold be safe for you to take. Good luck with your sweet little baby!

  10. ok

i get what you are saying..

go to your doctor and if he/she doesnt give you good advice go see a specialist or even go to the HOSPITAL

    your pregnate..

your baby could be at risk but also, you are taking medication and did you confirm the meds while you are pregnate? and there are some signs of being pregnate..

witch you are 19 weeks and it depends like some people get morning sickness.... and other things,

but hun, please go see a doctor, it could be the meds that are making you go like this.

  11. when i get anxious i like to listen to sounds of nature cds. its helps clear my head and helps me relax! i have a cd that is the sounds of the ocean and i have sounds of the thunderstorm and sounds of the rainstorm. its really soothing. a main reason for getting anxious thoughts is that we have a simple worry but our minds make it spiral down into deep anxiety. try having like a special drink that u drink to soothe you when u r anxious. i havent had that problem bc ive never been pregnant. im to young to even have s*x but i used to go to a counciler and these are some of the things she told me to do. i hope  this helped.

    good luck!
