Weird logging off problem!?

so when i click on log off its goes to the logging off screen and then back to the main then logs off!

Sounds as though there may be a program running in the background that's delaying the log off procedure and had to be forcibly shut down after a while. I've seen this happed with programs like Instant messengers that refuse to shut down at first. It could also be the antivirus software.
