Weird looking electrical circuit?

Question

I am confused about this electrical circuit. Are the resistors on a series or parallel connection. Will I used Kirchoff or something? Thanks!

They are in parallel, with total resistance 1/2 or 0.5 ohms. Current is 5/0.5 or 10 amps.

too simple a circuit to use K's laws.

How do I know they are in parallel? because the same voltage is across both them.

Another way: look at the wires as flexible. Then just move the left resistor over to the right, and it becomes clearer.
