  1. Although there are a few bad cops out there giving the vast majority a lousy name, this incident sounds more like you were far from being in control of yourself.

You were high and caused damage.  You don't remember paying for the window to avoid going to jail. Were they cops or security guards? Where is the diner? Go there on a  sober day and talk to someone without starting a fight.

Get into drug treatment. This whole mess sounds like your fault. It's amazing how the only things you remember are what someone did to you but not the part where you did something.

' I didn't really know what I did." See you in court, kid.

  2. IF the cops told you to pay two hundred and you where charged six by the store, then you have every right to contest the extra four hundred.  You agreed to pay two hundred, not six.  Wait it out and see what happens, if you get arrested, explain to the judge that you only agreed to pay two hundred, and not the full six.  They are trying to rip you off.

I really don't think they are going to do anything about it, you may have been scammed.  Don't admit to not remembering anything.  Claim that you don't think you broke it, and demand to be shown the proof- AKA video Surveillance.  If they don't have a video positively Identifying you as  the person who broke the window, then you are in a He said, she said situation, and you can get out of it.  If they do have a video, then get the cash yourself and pay 200, like you promised.  NEVER give your credit card number in that situation. The fact that they overcharged you probably makes it a scam, and nothing will probably happen, but just in case.  Demand proof that you did it, and if they can't provide it, then you dont' pay.

  3. and you came to yahoo answers...ya, um.... gl

  4. you should still be in jail...recovering from the police brutality attitude adjustment.

  5. Maybe you should stop drinking as you probably imagined this whole senario and drank your money away.

  6. Dirty cops definitely do still exist. Its good that you cancelled the transaction. All you can really do now is wait and see what they will do. You can fight this in court if it came down to it. Don't let them take advantage of you, it just makes them do it to other people.

    Good luck with everything.

  7. It sounds like you need to quit drinking.  That would solve a lot of your problems.

We don't take credit cards by the way.  The Police don't carry around a credit card reader and debit your money.

  8. if you where to drunk to remember the broken window how did you remember any of this and how do you know they where actually cops it sounds like to ordinary people got you for six hundred bucks

  9. OK, lets break this down some.  Guy says you broke a window at a diner. Two cops there.  You had no idea what you did.  You remember asking for cops badge numbers.  You called your brother.  You remember everything rather clearly EXCEPT breaking a window.  I'll be darned.
