Weird phone call?

My mom keeps getting calls from a [phone], and she is worried that they are one of those calls that end up charging the recipient huge amounts of money. Do any of you guys know anything about these kind of calls? Thanks!

Try tracing the call.  If you can *69, do it.  That can definitley be costly.  If the person(s) keep calling, contact the police and file a report.  That way you have a record about the incidents.  That will help with any disputes with your phone company.  Good luck!
