I had at the most 4 beers the night before. Started drinking at 9pm. Got done drinking at 3 am. i did not take any illegal drugs. i took 2 somas for my knee problem. but there is no illegal substance in my body. i spent the night at my friends house. i then got pulled over at around 8. because i got into an accident and i was put under arrest for suspicion of DUI. (it didn't help that my friend was drunk) well they didn't find anything in the car. I was then taken to the police station and did a breathalyzer and a blood test. i blew a .00 and waiting on the drug test. I took those tests at 9:45. (all they took was blood) i was then told to go get another one done and i did a blood and urine test at the doctors office.By that time it was 11:30ish. I got the results from my doctors office(the test that was taken at 11:20) and both alcohol and drug tests came back negative. Do you think that the tests at the police station will come back negative too? im mostly jus worried about the possible alcohol still in my system.

Well the whole reason why i was taken was becasue my passenger was drunk. and they thought i was. They already gave her a court date for minor consumption but i havent gotten anthing. But isnt that weird that she already has a court date and i dont?

They also took my car for investigation, however they are going to release my car to me tomorrow. so does that mean the investigation is over?

  1. life is about choices and yours arent too good and next time you may not be so lucky....i think all tests will be negative if you blew a 00.

  2. Soma is the brand name for carisoprodol. The paragraph below was pasted from www.drugs.com:

"Carisoprodol can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase drowsiness and dizziness caused by carisoprodol."

If they find Soma in your blood, you will probably be formally charged with DUI. Being prescribed the medication is not a defense. If it impairs your driving, you can be arrested.

Releasing the car does not mean the investigation is over, it just means the car is no longer needed.
