Weird question . Does anyone know if there is a connection between ghosts and light bulbs not working?

I know this sounds crazy, but I had a visit from my father after he died, when I went to turn the lamp on, the light bulb was burned out. It didn't flicker...it just did not work. My x-husband and father of my children recently died of a tragic accident. A week later, I felt his presence very strongly. I had 5 light bulbs burn out in 6 days. One was a light bulb that is supposed to last 7 years and it lasted 5 months. After the 6 days, I didn't feel his presence, and all light bulbs are working.I think it has something to do with the electro magnetic field they emit. Can anyone give me info or direct me to a paranormal expert that i can ask about this.

There seems to be some correlation between high anxiety such as grief and light bulb problems.  High emotions.  Mental stress seems to affect watch batteries as well.  By the way, I've been visited as well and never had problems with bulbs, but when someone emotionally imballanced comes around, the bulbs can go.

Well yes, spirits use the electrical energy around them to manifest..i think it's magnetic..or electric. Anyways, yes, if one is around, then the light bulb might malfunction..maybe it's just old. most likely if you saw a ghost ur crazy and u tried to use a steak as a light bulb and/or the "lamp" was a tennis ball with a face drawn on it named steve.

Were all or most of these light bulbs from the same packet ?

Keep them and take them back to the shop and demand a refund!

5 in 6 days is however a little spooky especially since you said the lights started working again which suggests there are no wiring problems. You might however want to get your light sockets checked for loose connections?

Maybe your X is trying to warn you of electrical problems that could lead to a fire ?

Whatever the cause get your wiring and sockets checked just in case?

ghosts are not really "ghosts" as hollywood has portrayed them but pure energy caused by powerfull emotions and channeled by the spirit. its very possible that the lightbulb was offset by this energy.  the human mind does have the power to generate enough energy to form a tangible mass, when given enough conviction.

There are some spirits that can emit or create an electrical magnetic  field that can burn out or interrupt a  working light bulb..... But that kind of power field is associated with angelic or a demonic force...............And it is like two  oppsite forces conflicting with each other and the Bulb come out the loser because the filaments burns out via the power draw.............
