  1. Yes it's possible in all sorts of jobs from cleaner to secretary given the right qualifications. Keep your eyes on the sits vac columns, or phone the palace (they are in the book). I understand that the pay is not very good, but the prestige is!

  10. it is very possible.i can't imagine the royal family cleaning their own toilets or cooking their own meals.

  11. It's not a job, it's a lifetime committment.

    It is possible.  People do.  People must.

    You would have to have connections, and be really, REALLY discreet!  

    And reserved.  Have you ever seen what kind of people hang out with British royalty?  They are pretty stoic.

It must be possible - you probably have to apply through a special agency and be thoroughly investigated first in case you're a threat to the monarchy.  I think it would probably be quite awful myself, because I bet most of the available jobs would be in service, e.g. waiting at table or whatever, and I wouldn't want to be humble all the time.
