Weird sensation in mouth.?

I just finished chewing three sticks of gum--the brand is that 5 gum, and its flavor is called 'Lush'. It has sort of a citrus mangoey flavor to it; not the least bit minty. After I spit my gum out I brushed my teeth, and I had to stop about halfway. My mouth was experiencing weird minty feelings, where it was so minty it was almost unbearable.

My question is, could anyone explain why this is happening, and what ingrediant in the gum caused this extreme mint sensation?

  1. I think that you should read on the label the contents of the manufacturing process and it's ingredients . What is the cause may the chemical with the mixture of your saliva . If it doesn't feel or taste good and the taste is unbearable , don't buy it again . As well chewing gu is bad for your jaw bones . You wear them down rapidly and it will be loosened as you get holder and they will clap and make noise later on . Good luck and have a great day .
