Weird sound coming from my computer speakers?

When I watch a video, my speakers make a weird sound. It sounds like they're purring or the people in the movie are rolling their letters. Does anyone know how to fix it?

maybe the wire inside teh speaker i lose...

is it like, feed back? is your cell phone near it? try putting your cell phone in the vicinity and seeing if it makes that noise, and then removing the cell phone from the area.

and i do not mean sticking them directly against each other, just like. on the computer desk or something.

maybe the people are spanish and your speakers are part kitten.

use head phones to see if the same thing happens!!! if not its ur speakers that are the problem!!!

it sounds like your speakers are blown it would probly be best to buy new ones if that doesnt work then there is probly something wrong with your computers audio software

could be a nearby cell phone... when a transmission is coming into a cell phone that's near speakers you get a similar sound! watch it again and turn your cell phone off!!!

Is this only when you are watching a video? If so your video card may have problems.

If your video card is ok, then your speaker jack can be in the wrong slot. There are usually three slots, try all three and see if that works.
