Sometimes when i am going to sleep (or when i wake up from sleeping)

I can hear a whoosh whoosh, or a swish noise in my ear. It feels like blood rushing through my ear. Only last a few seconds. I am 19 perfect health. No heart problems in family.

What does this mean?

Could it mean a heart murmur or can those only be heard my stethoscopes?

Could it be something serious? Im scared pls help

  1. I know I just answered but I thought I would post a link for you. I know you are worried and scared, but the best thing for you to do is see your dr. My husband developed a heart mummer when he was a child and was told he would have to have a valve replacement when he was 50. A few years ago, his Dr wasn't able to hear the mummer anymore and she said that it isn't um common for the mummer to heal itself. If you go to the Dr they can tell you if they hear any abnormalities. I know I just answered but I thought I would post a link for you. 2. I sounds like you have fluid in your inner ear, go to the dr and get it checked out..Tinnitus is a constant ringing in your ear.

  3. Tinnitus.  Harmless but you should make an appointment with your doctor to make sure you dont have an inner ear infection.
