I'd like to call it the Minnesota Monsoon Season. This whole week it's supposed to rain, and I'm not exaggerating a little bit. I haven't seen it rain for more than 10 days in a row before. The past 2 weekends we've had tornadoes in the area, and tomorrow there is supposed to be severe weather with the possibility of tornadoes as well. It almost feels like 'tornado alley' has shifted upwards a little.
What are some views on this? Could anyone give me a little insight as to why it might be acting like this? The temps have been unseasonably cool, so it's not like it's been very hot. It's been mid 60's to low 70's this whole time. So it's not like it's 'warming' so much. The weather just seems to be doing the...tango here.
