The German http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 player is looking forward to train with the top players in the world and claims he will not be daunted by their presence.
Mitchell Weiser said that he joined the Bavarian giants to learn from the star players of the club and is not just there to feel awe off them. The 18-year-old winger signed for a reported fee of €500,000 from the German club FC
Koln in the summer transfer window. The player claimed it will be difficult for him to get into the first team but he is eagerly looking forward to the challenge.
The midfielder admitted that it will be a big honour for him to play for a team with such great history. Moreover, the fellow players and the coaches have been very welcoming and accomodating to him. The player vowed to do his
best and to live upto his true potential and repay the faith shown by the Bayern directors.
"It's an honour to play for the club. I have been very well received by the players and coaches and I'm trying to do my best," he was quoted as saying.
Weiser is ecstatic to play alongside the few world class professionals that have returned from their Euro 2012 campaign and summer vacations. On the other hand, the youngster does not want to admire the stars because it would not
help him improve, therefore he wants to be the understudy of the great players playing for Bayern.
In order to grow personally he will need to be patient and willing to learn and gain experience from them.
"Already a few stars are here [after Euro 2012] and it's been something very special to play with so many world class players. But I'm not here to admire the stars, but to learn from them, so I can keep up with them at some point. And that depends on me."
Weiser was very impressive in 2011 UEFA European U-17 Football Championship in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mexico-c2956, scoring 3 goals in 6 matches in the latter tournament. He signed a three-year deal with the Bundesliga
runners-up and will wear the No. 23 shirt with die Roten
