Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vladimir-c36322 Weiss has admitted that he is looking to move out of the Etihad Stadium after finding out that clubs were interested in landing him.
The midfielder has managed to make only one appearance for the team since 2009 and has spent loan spells at Bolton, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 and Espanyol. As a result, he is now looking to finally settle down at a club and feels that this can only happen if he secure a move
away from City.
The Slovakian midfielder has revealed that there is interest in him from a number of clubs and as a result, he is looking to follow up on this interest.
Weiss is quoted to have said: "At the moment I can already tell you that I have four specific offers. One from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011"
"After the start of the pre-season preparations [with Manchester City], I want to wait for a week or two to see how the situation develops.”
"I have also been in touch with German clubs and there is a rumoured interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026, but I'm not looking in that direction though, because as long as I have offers from the top leagues, I will be interested in those."
The midfielder is currently in his last contractual year with the club. This is why it is believed that he could be offloaded, should the right offer be made for the player.
So far, no team has come forth and made a bid for the player, but with him admitting to wanting to move out of the team, there could be a line of suitors moving in to land him in the near future.
Should he want to stick around in the English league, he could try and secure a move to Bolton. Having already played for the team in the past, he could find it easy to settle into the club.
On the other hand, a move to Espanyol also seems like a decent option for Weiss, who just completed his loan spell with them.
It is now up to the player to attract a club towards him and then sign for them.
