Question:

Wel im making mashed potatoes

and i usually make them with milk. i only have half and half milk at my house should i use that or just sour cream? please i need answers at this very moment. thanks in advance for your help

  1. They will be richer, better tasting. Try them with heavy cream sometime as they are made in good restaurants.


  2. use both....your going to have smoother less clumpier mash potato

  3. Stick with the half and half milk. Atleast half and half has some milk in it. Its probably gonna turn out thicker and creamier than normal mashed potatoes with regular milk.

  4. either one will work just fine... Either one will actually make a creamier mashed than your milk would, just not as healthy...  

  5. sure ... I like sour cream or cream cheese too.  They'll just be richer and creamier

  6. sour cream is wonderful...philly cream cheese makes them very creamy also its wonderful!!half and half works great I would add them all with some chives and real butter on top..

    left over roll them like little meatballs or pancakes in panko bread crumbs and fry it up in some butter and dip in salsa/guacamole,horseradish w sour cream.
