Welcome back party ideas?

I am after some welcome back party ideas, my partner is coming back from dubai his been there for 3months for work.. We have dinner book for friends & family but any ideas after dinner? (besides going out clubbing)

they make this great game.. sampling wine for dummies.. you get 5 bottles of wine and they each get put in a bag and they you sample and rate each one.. it is a ton of fun.. and they have silly cards that go with it with crazy questions... you can get it at any book story and it is like 19dollars and is a ton of fun.

He may not want to go out; and might rather just relish the joy of being at home!  ...  Trivial Pursuit teams, Scattergories ... or just sitting and talking - have a Dessert Buffet at home (chocolate fondue; cookies; brownies; a "yellow ribbon" cake)
