school hasnt started yet for me, but its on the horizon. im going into high school. this "friend" (or used to be my best friend 2 years ago) totally ignored me all last year. my best bet that the reason is popularity. when we were friends with my "crew", she was funny and loud and laughed all the time. but with her new friends she kinda hangs back and doesnt say much, which totally isnt like her. but she started hanging around my close friends, which she hasnt done all year, the last weeks of school.

im worried that she may ask to be friends again and to hang out like we used to. but i have NO idea what to do if she asks me this. i want to be prepared.

so should i welcome her back with open arms or shut her out like she did to me all last year?

thanks for all the answers.

  1. If she's important to you, then you should because everyone deserves a second chance. If she keeps screwin' you over then you should just let her go. Sit back in the cut a lil and scope her out and see how she acts compared to being around just you, your crew, and other people. If she seems to change frequently...get rid of her.

  2. you definitely don't need her

this happened with a bff of mine a few years ago

she ditched me for some more popular people and like about once a month she'd call me and wanna hang out.

eventually she got the hint and stopped calling.

so i say just keep with the friends you have
