Yeah, they are the scum of the earth.  Best thing to do is put it in writing and send it certified.

tell them to just do it.  they cant stop you.  put it in writing!!!  they just dont want to refund your $.  they have no choice if you request it though.  i've done it and dont let them tell you that you cant
