  1. uhmmm what about them could possibly scare you

  2. talk to a therapist?

  3. woah!

  4. What is it that makes them scary?

  5. You might want to work something like that out in therapy. That's a very unusual phobia to have. Waiters and cashiers are just regular people when they get off work. You shouldnt be afraid of them they wont bite. You should try too work through this fear by going to a resturant with someone close, to get over your fear.

  6. I'm scared of running up tile stairs for fear of knocking my teeth out, I'm insane.

  7. personally  I think your lying as in your full of it, am I right?

    of course I am.

but on the plus side, it is funny :)  and a good way to avoid paying the bill :)

  8. you sound oppressed

  9. That's not insane.

Many people are just afraid of weird things and that's OK.

I know someone who is afraid of peaches.

And I'm afraid of ladybugs and butterflies and all sea creatures!

  10. People are like just assuming that you're insane.

A lot of people have phobias, and they don't all HAVE to be of spiders, snakes, etc.

I think you should try to see a psychologist, they can help you figure things out(:

And don't worry, people who aren't insane go to physiologists all the time, it doesn't mean that you're crazy(:

    ~~Ali. :)

  11. wow... never heard of that one but i dont think ur insane.  phobias are very common and can b phobias towards many things.  what u need to do is learn y u fear them, understand it, and slowly learn to approach them.  u cant live forever running away from innocent ppl.  u might go hungry.. jeje no but seriously... slowly learn to control ur phobia.  u can and u will.

  12. Go to a psychiatrist.

Btw you are really insane :D

  13. It sounds to me like you are super shy and/or insecure.

I have the same problem talking to people on the phone about important stuff (like bills, or asking questions). I am worse when it's people I don't know, or if I'm face to face. I get nervous and flustered. I can't articulate what I'm going to say and stumble over the simplest words. I can feel my face get flush and I start to sweat.

The best thing to do, is to just DO IT. I know it's easier said than done, but the more you do it, the better it gets. It takes time, but I have noticed a difference! You will feel better about yourself after it is all over with, trust me.

I have been doing the same with my phobia of heights. It has worked with that too!

  14. no.

i refuse to order food on the phone.

i just dont like things i dont know i guess.

  15. answer: no its not common

    i've never heard of it

and neither have any of these people so far.

  16. Good evening maam, could I get you some cheese with that whine?  The special tonight is Vieux Boulogne.

    Enjoy your answer, maam.

  17. It seems like a common social phobia. Check the internet.

  18. Perhaps you ahev a fear of passing money onto others, or spending. This is a common sign of depression.

  19. I think it might be some for of Agoraphobia, which I've got, too. Waiters, Cashiers, sales people, pizza delivery guys-- even my customers at work!  As for how common it is: "According to the National Institute of Mental Health, approximately 3.2 million Americans ages 18-54 have agoraphobia at any given time."  Just push yourself every day to try to get out there and do what you need to do-- if you can't do it, don't sweat it, just keep trying.  But don't do what I did, and end up too scared to leave your apartment for almost a year.  Yikes.  If you start feeling like it's really interfering with your life, I'd find a counselor to talk to-- not a shrink! They'll just bog you down with meds! -- but even with someone else's help, you're the only one who can get you through this.  Hope that helps :)

  20. oh my god i know just what your saying I HAVE THE SAME FEAR! however i don't cry histerical. i just get really scared about ordering i think i just worry because im worried about what there going to think of me. i think it is a common phobia. and your not insane :)

  21. im no therapist but i think i have an answer to your problem frend. u dont fear cashiers u fear the presssure excerted by another human on somthin of your choice. just my opinion

    Peace out

  22. it's an insane phobia.

  23. It's not a common phobia. However, it is a phobia you learned to develop. If I were you I would try to find out the genesis of your phobia; that would be an interesting exploration. Now don't read anything into this, I am not saying you are "insane". Perhaps a counselor could help you begin the exploration so that you can understand why you cry hysterically when you try to order or purchase items.

By the way, just because a person is afraid of something does not make them "insane". Many people have fears of different things,  but that does not mean that they are mentally unstable, if that were the case everyone would be "insane". Take care.

  24. Well You would be a hungry person hey? Yes I THINK IT IS maybe You don't want to pay for the meal take someone with You.

  25. I think you should go get some help buddy

  26. You are not insane -this is a phobia. Some folks are afraid of the dumbest things like clowns, chickens, cats and well a lot of things. Just keep pushing yourself and if you have a real close friend share your fears and ask for their help when dining out. Hang in and don't give up.

  27. it could be that is seriously one of the most amazing things ive ever heard though

  28. you are VERY insane
