Question:

Well, that's just great. Roddick dropped the 2nd set. If he loses, I'm not watching anymore. Will You?

Sure, I'll watch the Williams Sisters, but if Roddick loses, I'm definitely DONE watching the Men's Tournament. With Blake already gone, Wimbledon just wouldn't be as interesting if Roddick lost. I don't know why. It just seems that way. Don't you agree?

  1. me neither, andy lost, it sucks!!!

    i'm soo sad

    :(

  2. well sorry you lose you but I'll keep enjoying  :-D

  3. Sure I will, there is Federer, Nadal, Safin ( who seems in a great form) all much better players than Roddick who can't make a break for the life of him, than on women side: sister Wiliams, Ivanovic, Jankovic. Plenty to watch for me. I never cared for Blake that much and never thought he will do anything so his lost doesn't suprise me at all.

  4. Roddick??

never thought of him.  don't expect him to go far from the beginning.

    i follow Federer.

  5. Absolutely. I do not base my opinions of players on their nationality. It's not a team sport so it just doesn't seem relevant. If a player is talented and good to watch, I really do not care where he is from.

  6. Well, Roddick already lost his match..

I'm not a US citizen, but i understand you're feeling.. i think if i am a US, i'll do the same..

    I'm really sorry..

  7. Well then I guess you haven't watched the complete men's tournament since 2005, which was the last time Roddick made it to the final.  No, I don't agree with you at all.

  8. 'That's just great'  (Lieutenant Dan after finding out that Forrest  was going to get the Medal of Honour while he had had his legs blown off)

  9. I weill stay watching for several reasons. One, Maria has lost, yessssss. Also Serena and Ana, and Nadal, and Gasquet are still alive. I personally dont care all too much for Roddick, can actually take him or leave him, for he is just much too stubborn and tempermental, not to change up his game a bit to achieve more success, instead of thinking and relying on that power alone gets you wins. His ground game isnt all that and doesnt volley exceptionally well.

  10. no surprise for me he lose early....i follow roger

  11. Absolutely. There is plenty of talent left in the draw. With these two gone, hopefully ESPN2 will air other matches instead of the constant supply of Roddick, Blake, and the Williams'.

I guess that is easy for me to say because I really don't like Andy Roddick's game or personality and while James seems like a really nice guy, his game seems so one-dimensional to me.

Also, in my opinion, Andy and James are fun to watch only when they have entertaining opponents; for example, Kohlschreiber and Tipsarevic for Andy and Santoro for James. When you put them up against a Karlovic or some other player who can't handle their serves, then it's not so interesting.

  12. roddick is great....if he looses i will still watch because it will be interesting to see how the rest of the slam will turn out

  13. I have never understood that kind of mentality your just basically confirming you have no comprehension of great tennis. Watch and learn Federer vs Nadal one of the great rivalries in sport.

  14. I know its so strange for all the top players to be crushed by like #175 in the world! I'm going to keep watching even if i don't know the new people because you can learn how this nobody beat someone like James Blake or Marie Sharpova. It will be a really great match! Yeah Roddick's in trouble.
