Pre season is on fire already with out this upset!!!

Not far off 1/2 a second quicker .................... on Michelins. Oops. Maybe ?

Hi wiggy

That was one of Lorenzo's final laps after Vale had already packed up and gone home. Plus it was on Michelin Qualifiers that most people (including Bridgestone) say are better than Bridgestones qualifiers.

Rossi's race tyre times were almost a second a lap quicker than Jorge's. I think Lorenzo went away a bit disappointed. Apparently he's having confidence problems with the front. Something I seem to remember people complaining about last year.

Although I don't think its the tyres. Colin's not having those problems. According to Masao Furusawa (Yamaha's general manager of Engineering Operations) its Jorge's riding style.

If they can't get it sorted I can see Dingo's prediction of toys being thrown out of the pram being a reality, as Lorenzo was supposedly promised the same equipment as Rossi. Obviously that was before Vale threw his toys out of the pram and demanded Bridgestones.

Roll on the next test! Roll on the season....Its gonna be a humdinger!!

Hi Wiggysan. Still behind Rossi's time. and everyone else was missing. I see now why everyone says just testing. But when you compare lap times to last yrs race pace or even Qualifying pace. testing is bloody quick testing. so I'm not reading much into it yet. I'm still impressed with Haydon. I think he was on race tyres too.  ????

Yeah, the site I was reading (crashnet) seemed to feel the way Neil does, that Lorenzo is having a bit of a mare getting round consistantly fast - bit light on the front or so the tech bods say - and down to riding style - interesting read?
